Welcome to my happy place, the place where I share the amazing people I get to photograph weekly along with tips and helpful info on sessions, using your camera, and so much more! This special business, Spotlight, is so much more than that. It was born in 2007 when I was taking team photos in our area and grew to my taking photos of these same young boys and girls as seniors, eventually brides and grooms, and now as young couples and new parents. Relationships and newfound friends turned family is what it's all about! I'd love the opportunity to capture some memories for you along the way and include you as part of the Spotlight family!

This little "supposed to be Christmas baby" decided to make her debut instead in 2017 starting the new year off right for this dear family who has become so special to me! Little Wake was my second baby of the year, just a few days old when he came to the studio. I get childishly excited when I know I have a baby coming to the studio and during and after the session looks like a tornado went through as we have fun going through bowls and baskets and wraps and blankets and I love every minute!
