Choosing the person to capture those moments in photographs is an important decision and one we take very seriously.
We schedule a free consultation with all potential brides and grooms to discuss how we can help you, to get to know each other a little better, and determine if we are the best fit for you… and we feel confident we will be! We determine how we can serve you on your wedding day and hopefully we will for years to come as you and your family grow.

Common Questions
When should I schedule my bridal portrait?
You should schedule your bridal portrait session as soon as you know your dress will be ready. We recommend doing it no less than 30 days before the wedding to insure time to get your portrait ready and framed or canvas wrapped before the big day and to allow for weather snafus.
What should I expect at my bridal portrait session? What do I bring with me?
Your session will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and will be a location of your choosing (within one hour of wedding location) or we can recommend several beautiful options to you. We suggest you schedule to have your hair and makeup done a couple of hours before the portrait (and we can provide a magnificent makeup artist as well!).
We ask that you bring with you a bouquet, which your florist will often make for you for your portraits, a water bottle, shoes you will wear in the wedding and/or something cute (a lot of girls will bring flip flops or boots!), your Mom or best friend or someone to help out, ideas you’ve seen that you love, and a smile!
Should I do an engagement session… what should I expect?
Oftentimes, a couple getting married have never had professional photos taken together and won’t have more taken, except for their wedding, until later when they start a family. These are the most precious times between a couple, madly in love, and about to being a new life together. Our engagement sessions are fun, romantic and capture a time in your life that is so…. fairytale.
Your session will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and will be a location of your choosing (within one hour of your wedding location) or we can recommend several beautiful options to you. It is casual, relaxing and a lot of fun. Even the guys end up enjoying it (although many won’t admit it!).
We suggest you wear simple and comfortable clothing like jeans and solid colored shirts as busy prints often detract from the photos. Bring a water bottle and wear comfortable shoes.
How long does it take to see my proofs after portraits and after wedding day?
All of your proofs/photos will be posted online in a private gallery within two weeks of the shoot. Galleries will be “unlocked” and open to family and friends after the wedding day unless you specifically request otherwise.
